A cheaper alternative to topside, silverside can be found on dinner tables across the country as part of the traditional Sunday roast.

Another popular use of this meat is in pot roasts where it has a shorter cooking time than the less tender brisket.

Silverside is named after the “silverwall” of connective tissue which can be found along the side of the cut, and which our team of expert butchers remove before sale as it is too tough to eat.
