Bacon, Sausage and Apple Pasta

Quick, easy and delicious creamy bacon and sausage pasta with an apple-y twist!


  • 3 Rashers of Rindless Back Bacon
  • 6 Thin Pork Sausages
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Large Carrot
  • ½ Large Dessert Apple
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • 150ml Single Cream
  • A good handful of Fusilli pasta. (~3oz / 85g)
  • Good sprinkling of salt & pepper

Preparation & Cooking

  1. Cut bacon into 1″ squares. Cut sausages into 1cm slices. Chop onion. Fry all together until cooked.
  2. Halve carrot, slice into 1/4″ slices. Add to pan.
  3. Cut apple/apples into small chunks. Add to pan.
  4. Add tin of tomatoes and half fill the can with water and add to the pan. Bring to the boil. Add the pasta, cream, sugar and seasoning.
  5. Simmer for about 20/25 minutes. Add more water if required to keep moist.
