Gorgeous, flavoursome burgers that have little need for any added condiments!
Ingredients
- 175g (6oz) Beef Mince
- 175g (6oz) Minced Pork
- Half an onion, grated
- 3oz (85g) grated mature cheddar
- 1teaspoon mustard powder
- 2 tablespoons of HP woodsmoke BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation and Cooking
- In a large bowl, add mince, cheese, onion and mustard. Mix together using your hands (Use gloves if possible, otherwise ensure hands are cut free and very clean!)
- Add the BBQ sauce and mix well again.
- Divide the mixture into 4 and shape into rounds. Flatten to make 3/4 inch deep burgers and place on a deep sided baking tray or on a grill pan.
- Coat the burgers, top and sides, using half a tablespoon of oil on each.
- Cook in the middle of a preheated oven (400°F / 200°C) for 25-30 minutes.
Serve in a bread bun. Enjoy!
